The movie explores the story of a common man named Ramakant, who is a stingy perfume shop owner and he lives with his wife, Shilpa, in a small society. When his wife forces him to purchase something good for this couple as a wedding gift, he picks out a fancy toaster worth five thousand rupees. A day later, the couple’s marriage falls apart and they call off the wedding then. But here, Ramakant cannot stop thinking about that expensive gift, “toaster” sitting in their house. Then he decides he wants it back. His obsession leads him to the wedding families, where he fall into a messy murder case and everything starts going wrong in the worst possible way.
What happens when a simple plan to retrieve a kitchen appliance turns into complete chaos? Ramakan’s cheap nature keeps making many things worse, like he lies, sneaks around and drags his confused wife into the drama. The movie toaster becomes the center of a wild mystery involving secrets and police trouble. Finally, a bunch of weird characters who all seem connected to the broken marriage. When the story ends, Ramakant realizes that his greed has landed him in serious trouble and getting that toaster back might cost him way more than five thousand rupees.
