1. Saurabh Raj Jain as Lord Krishna

Saurabh Raj Jain was Lord Krishna, the divine mentor and the main character of Mahabharat (2013 TV Series). Krishna is depicted to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu whose wisdom, guidance, and teachings determine the fate of the Pandavas. He is able to bring back dharma through his calmness and rich philosophical understanding, and he counsels heroes such as Arjuna in the Kurukshetra War.

Shaheer Sheikh acted as Arjuna, the third Pandava brother and one of the best archers in the epic. In many instances, Arjuna is torn between obligation and feeling, and Krishna is the one who guides him, particularly in the Kurukshetra War. The image of Sheikh depicted the warrior as strong in battle and full of moral dilemmas as a warrior of dharma.

Pooja Sharma played the role of Draupadi, the princess of Panchala and a wife to all five Pandava brothers. Ranka depicted the power, pride, and great insecurity of Duryodhana that were the reasons behind his choices during the epic.

Praneet Bhat was the uncle of the Kauravas, Shakuni, who was the mastermind of most of their tricks. Shakuni was a known manipulative and cunning person who played psychological games and strategy to fight against the Pandavas. His character brought significant twists to the conflicts and the political fights in the story.

Rohit Bhardwaj played the role of the eldest Pandava brother, Yudhishthira, who is the personification of righteousness. A reserved, just, and devoted to the truth, Yudhishthira had to go through numerous ethical trials, and the most well-known of them was the dice game that resulted in the exile of the Pandavas. His image as described by Bhardwaj demonstrated his firm commitment to dharma despite suffering.

Saurav Gurjar portrayed Bhima, the second Pandava who was extremely strong in his body and passionately loyal. Bhima was brave and powerful and that is why he was at the center of most battles especially against the Kauravas. Nirbhay Wadhwa played Dushasana, who is one of the Kaurava brothers and the one who humiliated Draupadi at the Kuru court. Dushasana, an aggressor and a fierce protector of Duryodhana, was one of the main antagonists, who significantly contributed to the growth of the conflict between the Pandavas and Kauravas.

Dhritarashtra, the king of the blind who ruled Hastinapur and had Kauravas as his offspring was Thakur Anoop Singh. Caught between justice and his love to his sons, he was not always able to maintain fairness, which tended to aggravate the problems of the kingdom. The character of Singh demonstrated how emotionally complicated a king torn between duty and love can be.

Nissar Khan became the Dronacharya, the court teacher of the Pandavas and Kauravas. Being a mentor and warrior sage, Drona was very disciplined and loyal and influenced a lot of characters, Arjuna being the most important. Mahabharat (2013 TV Series) is an Indian epic based on the well-known Indian epic Mahabharata, which is a story about the ancient rivalry between two sets of cousins, the just Pandavas and the greedy Kauravas, over the throne of Hastinapur. The TV series is based on the royal conflicts, ethical issues, exile, and family values when the tensions begin to grow and the alliances are created.

The story is led by the wisdom of Lord Krishna towards the epic Kurukshetra War in which is woven the questions of duty, honour, justice and fate, in a large battlefield. The show features numerous characters and dramatic lines, which are timeless teachings of what is right and wrong, and it is one of the most interesting mythological shows in Indian television.
