Sigma is a heist adventure in which the protagonist gets caught up in a dangerous heist. The official trailer depicts the movie in the Drugs and Gambling League which is roughly valued at Rs 500 crore and its promotional material also features the elements of treasure hunting and a grand heist. Having a mix of action, humor, Romance and suspense, Sigma tries to be a commercial entertainer. The movie is about 2 hours and 25 minutes long and is available in several Indian languages.

Sigma Cast and Crew
Sundeep Kishan stars as the central character who ends up in a perilous world of crime and high-stakes deception, helmed by Sigma. Faria Abdullah has brought in Sam and Raju Sundaram has given the ensemble the comic touch. Sigma Movie Story Highlights and Plot
The narrative is about a regular person who gets embroiled in a much larger criminal network. In the trailer, he describes himself as a radio presenter who unwittingly gets entangled in a ₹500-crore racket. An unwanted meeting slowly evolves into a mission of great risk and he must take matters into his own hands.
At the heart of Sigma is an elaborate heist. The main character and his allies take on the powerful individuals involved in the operation in a multi-step process. The movie combines the intrigue of the heist with action, humor and a romantic storyline featuring Sam (Faria Abdullah). The mixture results in a commercial approach to the film rather than restricting its genre to a crime thriller.
But the well laid plan doesn’t run smoothly. The trailer implies that the characters will stumble across some sort of obstacle which will send them into a panic, requiring the protagonist to adapt his approach and come up with a new battle plan. What promises to be twists, action and set pieces to entertain has mixed criticals. The Indian Express appreciated Sundeep Kishan’s stamina and face but pointed out that it was “a screenplay that is light on content, character and emotional writing and rates 1.5/5”.
Sigma Budget
It has yet to be officially confirmed that a definite production budget for Sigma has been set. The film has a large scale, with lots of locations, lots of ensemble cast, lots of VFX and stunt sequences, so it is clear that it was a big budget action and heist film to make. Without an official figure, though, it’s best to refrain from providing an estimated budget as a fact. It was a production of A. Subaskaran under the banner of Lyca productions.
Final Thought
There’s enough curiosity to the Sigma to question the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay and the lead role of Sundeep Kishan. It has an ambitious mix of heist, action, comedy, romance and adventure which makes it an appealing commercial set-up. Early reviews have been mixed, with Sundeep Kishan being one of the better aspects of the movie while the script and character development have been criticized.If you are more of an action-packed, heist-full movie fan, then you can still find entertainment at Sigma. But people who have been looking for a tightly written and sophisticated heist film might not like the film as much.
