Nayi Naveli Movie Story and Plot
Nayi Naveli is set against the backdrop of Meerut and is about a seemingly normal Indian family who suddenly finds themselves thrown into a drastic change in their lives when a new bride called Mohini comes to stay with them. Initially, it appears Mohini is the ideal wife. She brings peace, happiness and order to a house that was previously disorderly. She seems to seamlessly integrate into the family and soon plays a crucial role in their life.
But her good-natured personality makes her brother-in-law suspicious. He starts questioning himself and starts thinking whether Mohini is a Daayan or a witch underneath this perfect bride. This suspicion turns into a much larger mystery.
The trailer of the film, which was recently released, indicates that the plot is not just a simple witch hunt. It is a blend of family fun, supernatural, fantasy, adventure and action. The trailer also suggests that Mohini has an odd relationship with the supernatural realm and portrays her as a character that could be far more powerful and mysterious than the family realizes.
The movie doesn’t give away the entire secret, it seems to be playing with the idea of whether Mohini is truly a Daayan or a witch or not , the relationship between family members, superstition, identity and unexpected heroism.
