On Monday, the two actors went on Instagram to provide a glimpse into their pre-wedding festivities in Udaipur and provide fans with a glimpse of the intimate but joyful ambiance. The posts indicate that the celebrations have started off on a casual and joyful scale in anticipation of their major day on 26 February 2026.
Vijay posted an informal picture on his Instagram stories of what seemed to be a party at the poolside. The shot, which goes through a net of a volleyball, shows silhouetted figures in the middle of a game in a swimming pool, and the ball is in the air.
The uninhibited scene showed that the groom party started the festivities with a spirited game of pool volleyball. The other photo was of a beautiful green background, a volleyball court by the poolside and a tray of drinks in bright red cups – exactly what the carefree, party atmosphere of the evening evoked.
Whereas the posts of Vijay were sporty and playful, those of Rashmika were the image of elegance and warmth. She had a lovely dining table with golden light. A long table was spread under low ambient lights adorned with blush lilies, green hydrangeas, fresh apples and grapes. A Japanese menu card was printed in custom and gave a hint of a well-planned Japanese dining experience to the guests. She also shared a rather low-resolution photo of the served dishes, which made the celebration look casual.
Another thing that immediately attracted the attention of fans was the embroidered napkins that were set at every table. Every napkin was printed with the word VIROSH which is the portmanteau of Vijay and Rashmika names which mean how much they are interwoven in their path.
Confirmation and Wedding Venue
According to their posts, the wedding will be held at the posh Mementos by the ITC Hotels, Ekaaya Udaipur, a marvelous place that has the royal touch and seclusion.
The couple officially announced their wedding on Sunday by sending emotional notes to their respective Instagram Stories. They have used the message to thank their fans who gave them the name Virosh way before they announced their relationship publicly.
“Our dearest loves. You were there before we made any plans, before we decided on anything to ourselves. You called us by name with so much love. You called us ‘Virosh’. So today with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour,” the note read.
They added, We would like to name it, The Wedding of VIROSH. Thanks to you, we are kept with a great deal of love. You are a part of us, always. Biggest hugs and full love”
