The Famous Indian Telugu actor’s wife officially filed for divorce at the Chegalpattu District Court. The spouse, who first registered their marriage in the UK in 1998, was married by a Hindu ceremony in Chennai in 1999 and they are seeking to end their decades-long union under the Special Marriage Act. Sangeetha describes the early years of their life together as happy and harmonious, noting that she dedicated herself entirely to their home and raising their children with this superstar.
However, now that she had to filled divorced in the Court in their local district. This petition brings to the fore a major twist of events when Sangeetha in April 2021, alleges that she found out that Vijay was dating an actress. And she adds that this revelation brought her deep emotional agony and was experienced as a great betrayal of their marital trust. Although initially, it was vowed to end the affair, it is stated in the filing that the affair was not severed, which led to increased emotional neglect, social media humiliation, and a breakdown in their domestic life.
The petitioner explains that the marriage is dead and only living on paper, with no actual relationship left and how she would receive a divorce decree and long-term financial maintenance in accordance with the earnings and society of the respondent.
They also request the right to continue living in their shared home in Neelankarai until the case concludes, or to be provided with equally suitable accommodation, and ask that all court proceedings be held privately to protect the dignity and privacy of everyone involved. The petitioner hopes for a fair and respectful resolution that allows both parties to move forward with closure.
